About Jivora
Why Jivora? Useful tools. Made simple.
Because a percentage, a QR code or a word count should take seconds — not a signup, an upload and three cookie banners.
Jivora is a small collection of everyday tools that live in your browser. Calculators, formatters, generators and counters — each one does a single job well, loads instantly and asks nothing of you.
The problem with most online tools
Search for almost any simple tool and you land on a page wrapped in advertising, a "create a free account to see your result" wall, or a form that quietly ships your data to a server you've never heard of. The tool itself is usually an afterthought.
That's backwards. The tool should be the whole point: open the page, get the answer, get on with your day.
What Jivora believes
- No accounts, ever. There is no login or signup anywhere on Jivora, and there never will be. You don't need to identify yourself to calculate a percentage.
- Processing belongs on your device. Wherever possible, the work happens in your browser with JavaScript — your numbers, text, JSON and images are never uploaded. You can disconnect from the internet mid-task and most tools will keep working.
- Free means free. Every tool is free to use, with no paywalled "premium" results or daily limits.
- Honest roadmaps. Tools that aren't finished are labelled Coming soon instead of pretending to work. If a button exists, it works.
- Speed is a feature. The site is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no framework and no build step, so pages load fast on any connection.
How the tools are built
Every tool is hand-written JavaScript with no server-side component: the QR generator implements the QR standard directly, the image compressor re-encodes files on an off-screen canvas, and the calculators do their math locally. Nothing you type is transmitted by Jivora itself.
The site works from any static host — GitHub Pages, Netlify or Cloudflare Pages — which keeps it fast, cheap to run and independent of any backend that could log your input.
What's next
The directory already lists the roadmap: more student and finance calculators, developer utilities and image tools are on the way. Each one will appear the moment it actually works — clearly marked, tested and just as private as everything else here.

Quick questions
The things people usually ask first.
Is Jivora really free?
Yes — every tool, with no accounts, limits or paywalled results. The site has no costs to pass on: it's static files served from a free host, and everything runs on your device.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no login or signup anywhere on Jivora, and none is planned. Open a tool and use it.
What data does Jivora collect?
Tool inputs — your numbers, text, JSON and images — are processed in your browser and never sent anywhere. Standard anonymous analytics may record page views and tool names, but not what you type. See the Privacy Policy.
Can I suggest a tool?
Absolutely. Use the contact page — suggestions from real users shape the roadmap directly.
